Saeed Gamhawi is a visual artist and a founding member of the Tasami Center for Visual Arts and a member of the House of Artists in Jeddah. who explored through his artistic practices several movements such as realism and then surrealism, and found in his immediate surroundings a material for observation and inspiration, which appeared in his conceptual works, which often depicted simple concepts and subjects that later developed to address the deeper concepts through which he searches in the facts, either ordinary or distorted, that lie at the heart of the cultural, religious and social scenes of his society while pointing out the importance of change by highlighting results.
Gamhawi put an end to his professional career in education to devote himself to artistic practice by establishing Raseef Studio at JAX District. He held a number of solo exhibitions, including his solo show at the House of Fine Artists in Jeddah in 1998 and his solo exhibition “A Day” at the Jeddah Atelier in 2002 . He also participated in several local and international collective exhibitions in Saudi Arabia, Argentina, the United States of America, Arab and European countries, including Noor Al Riyadh in 2020 , Misk Art Week in Riyadh in 2019 , Al Obour 21 , 39 in 2019 and 2016 , and his work was shown at the Louvre Museum among several other institutions in Europe in the context of the exhibition accompanying the Ambassador competition in 2006 .
